Food systems need to change and we know that in order to create this change over the long term we need more education for kids about food production and cooking.  Without understanding of what good food means, children are driven to convenience solutions that ignore health and the environment.  

That’s why we’ve partnered with Growing Chefs.  Growing Chefs pairs volunteer chefs with elementary school classrooms to give kids hands-on experience growing and cooking their own food.  This is something we love, so we’ve baked it into the way we do business.  During our launch phase, we'll be donating 360 PATCH planters to Growing Chefs to help them on their way.  

Why 1 FOR ALL? We think that when one PATCH enters a classroom and helps a child to develop an appreciation and understanding of food production, we all win.
